Witcher 4 is a video game for Action Fantasy Role-Playing produced by CD Project Red and released by CD Project. The game is based on the Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel of the same name. On 26 October 2007, the first game was released, simply named The Witcher. On September 16, 2009, the second instalment titled The Witcher 2: Assassins of King was released, and on 19 May 2015 the follow-up to the sequel titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released. We will explore the possibility of the fourth instalment in the series today.
*Witcher 4 Gameplay:-
The game focuses on the player, one of the last remaining witchers, named Geralt. As a monster slayer, he roams around and gathers coins for his job. The game displays everything from a third-person viewpoint, with a number of weapons like rockets, a crossbow, and two swords for the main character. Iron is used for the death of human beings, and silver is used to destroy animals. Geralt also has magic powers in addition to physical combat, including: Award (a telekinetic blast), Axii (Creates enemy confusion), Agni (Fire Blast), Yrden (Slows Enemies), Queen (Provides Shield). The game has selected the choice-based plot from the third instalment, where the player has to select what dialogue Geralt would say to NCP, which will impact the storey in turn. Boxing, horse racing, and card play are additional side gameplays.
*The Official Notice:-
In March 2020, CD Project Red President Adam Kicinski told a group of journalists that a “relatively simple concept” for the new instalment has been laid down, and the work will begin once CyberPunk 2077 is released. He also said the game is not going to be Witcher 4, but something else, but it’s going to be part of the Witcher Universe. We can essentially assume that the fourth game will be something of a spin-off, rather than a sequel, with all these comments by the President. So we could end up with Ciri as the main character of the game, or we could even get some form of prequel.
Geralt of Rivia, Ciri of Cintra, and Yennefer of Vengerburg are the principal characters in Witcher 4.
Other characters include Triss Merigold, Dandelion, King Foltest, Milva, Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach, Angouleme, Philippa Eilhart, Dijkstra, Vilgefortz, Leo Bonhart, Eredin, Mousesack, Queen Calanthe, Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy.
*Witcher 4 Release Date:-
The Witcher Season 2 has no official launch date yet, but we know that due to the logistical problems created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the series will not return until 2021. “During a Reddit AMA, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich confirmed the timeframe:”
We don’t have a target launch date for season two after 2021 yet. We don’t want to rush the product. Nobody profits from that. Between March and August, the outbreak of coronavirus forced producers to postpone shooting for five months, which means they have a lot of catching up to do, but thankfully, production is now going along again at a steady rate.
After a long shot, Henry Cavill posted a picture of himself in make-up, confirming that daily COVID-19 monitoring is being done on set to protect the cast and crew. The caption reads: “We are all cleared and bubbled with COVID. We are checked in Kaer Morhen twice a week up here!”
No trailer for Witcher 4 has been released, so here’s a fan-made trailer instead. For PlayStation 4 and X-Box One, Witcher’s Last Game is available.
