REVIEW OF THE SERIES

It is not a weak drama but an inspirational drama to how to overcome the losses which are to be faced in life. This is a ten-episodes series which follows the stage of petty and takes through the difficult times and mild acceptances that the West family goes through. The series opening scene with Sarah who gets diagnosed with cancer and passes away. While Maddie, the elder kid, and narrator of the series lash out at everyone and the other two children Scout and Taylor are sensitive in nature. Maddie is not only angry with her Mother’s death but also she knows one secret that can destroy the remaining members of the family. John bidwest tries to console and comfort his three children on his own, but the demand of the situation is too many and hard. He finds a helping hand in his sister-in-law Charlie and she loved her sister dearly as the two shared a lovely bond. As a result, she feels attached to her kids. Hence, she decides to stand like a rock for them despite being shattered from inside.

John receives a job offer as head of the search and rescue team in Turtle Island Bay and he shifts there with his kids for the change of the atmosphere which will enable them to start afresh. Almost every episode contains a parallel thread about John who risks his life for saving the life of other people. There contains a disappointing element of the series Northern Rescue as the makers could easily round off the edges and wrapped in the ten episodes. The audience has to wait for what steps Maddie will take for getting her life back in control. The secret she knows is not what will shake her father but actually a revelation that has left her heartbroken.
