STORY OF THE SERIES
The story revolves around corruption, violence, crimes, governance failure, mafia dons, and gang wars. Its second season continues the journey of a fight to become a king or ruler of Mirzapur between Guddu Pandit and Munna Bhaiya.
The season 2 story unfolds with the character of Guddu Pandit who will be back for revenge against the killing of his wife and brother. In the war against Kaleen bhaiya and his son, there are two people who are supporting him which are Guddu’s sister Dimpy and Golu Sweety’s sister. He is also back for establishing his rule in Mirzapur. Sharad Shukla is also having a major role in the second season of Mirzapur. Guddu has to deal with more than one enemy. With the introduction of new characters, the story will be more interesting and amazing with some drama and suspense.
REVIEW OF THE SERIES
In the second season, there is lots of violence with guns, goons. Human life is not given value and there is lawlessness everywhere. There is a rise in crimes related to murder which has intensified the battles shown in the series. Munna is the character behind all the killings and these killings are shocking in nature and the audience wonders if they can’t be avoided. The Mirzapur 2 starts from where season 1 ended. It begins with more violence which grabs the attention of the audience in an instant manner. The creator and director of the series have taken more bold decisions to add some more shock value to this already heated revenge story. The cast of the series is well-lit having strong performers like Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Anjum Sharma, Rajesh Tailang, Khulbushan Kharbanda who plays the role of patriarch of the family who talks less but speaks more with his presence only.
The female actors are given more scope in this second season as they are showcased with more anger and power in their character. All of them have successfully managed to showcase and bring out their inner strength and vulnerability to their characters. Mirzapur 2 has the best combination of power and politics which had largely worked. Revenge dramas are included and multiple subplots are there. Mirzapur 2 is like a welcome addition that has fired in the right direction and has successfully and efficiently managed to bring, deliver a gritty, gruesome story of intense rivalries.
