Maharashtra Balasaheb Thackeray Accidentally Insurance Scheme is being
launched by the UDDHAV THACKERAY- led State Government, launches a
new road accident insurance scheme name after late Shiv Sena chief
Balasaheb Thackeray to reduce the facility rate of victims in his treatment.
Under Balasaheb Thackeray Accidental Insurance Scheme the victim will
be provided a good treatment in the nearby hospital where the accident has
took place in the first 72 hours of the accident and this statement was given
by the chief minister.
Treatment up to RS 35,000 will be provided within that 72 hours which
includes ICU ( Intensive Care Unit ), Ward fracture and which also includes
meals in the hospital.
Under this scheme, any victim throughout the country can take advantage of this scheme if his/her accident took place on the Maharashtra road; which does not include only the victim of Maharashtra.
On the road of Maharashtra; on an average 40,000 people got injured and
13,000 died in accidents on state highway rural roads every year.
This scheme was Firstly approved by the Devendra Fadnavis who was the led of BJP and it was a takeover by the state cabinet under the year 2016.
This scheme expects to cost around RS120 crores which will pass by the
Health Department to The State Health Assurance Society.
This scheme won’t include an accident of industrial or railways accident nor accident mishaps or daily work at home.
It only includes the road accident which takes places on the Road of
