Ayushman Bharat Yojana, also referred to as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), is a scheme that aims to assist economically vulnerable Indians who are in need of healthcare facilities.

1. At the national level to manage, an Ayushman Bharat National Health Protection Mission Agency (AB-NHPMA) would be put in situ. States/ UTs would be advised to implement the scheme by a fanatical entity called the State Health Agency (SHA)

2. They will either use an existing Trust/ Society/ Not for Profit Company/ State Nodal Agency (SNA) or found out a replacement entity to implement the scheme.

3. States/ UTs can plan to implement the scheme through an insurance firm or directly through the Trust/ Society or use an integrated model.

4. Increased benefit cover to just about 40% of the population.

6. Coverage of 5 lakh for every family, (no restriction of family size)

There is no special Ayushman Bharat registration procedure concerning PMJAY.
